Day 2: Aviemore To Boat of Balliefurth

Today you will be treated by great scenery and some small rapids, to prepare you for more ahead.

Out experienced guides will give you all the tips needed to manoeuvre your canoe successfully.

You will depart the view of the Cairngorms and head into the Kincardine Hills.

We will have some time in Boat of Garten for refreshments and food before heading off on our way. The afternoon section consists of meandering bends and glimpses of the Strathspey Railway. Along the way today there is opportunity to see Sand Martins and Badgers at night if we are lucky! Arriving into camp we will set up a campfire.

Day 3: Boat of Balliefurth to Cragganmore

Today the flow picks up with small rapids and you will be whisked down to Grantown on Spey. From here we will get some slightly bigger rapids to raise excitement.

The scenery leaves the Cairngorms and and is replaced by the Cromdale Hills, with rich sections of Scots pine forest. Maybe there are some pine martins lurking?

In the afternoon the rapids keep coming and will prepare you for tomorrows fun!

Day 4: Cragganmore to Craigellachie

Today is full of excitement. The river Avon joins and adds volume and speed. Soon you will be at the Washing Machine, one of the Speys most famous rapids. After running this the rapids carry on the Knockando Rapids. Plenty more rapids take you down to Aberlour where things calm down.
